Liz and Liam's destination wedding in Casa Marina took inspiration from the vintage Florida keys and old Hollywood. The vibrant colors of the hotel were juxtaposed with neutral wedding decor for the perfect timeless day.
The reception was lit up by hundreds of candles and soft up-lighting, perfect for a soft and dreamy glow. We used a mix of direct flash and ambient light to create a moody and lived-in feel. We wanted this to feel like your parents wedding pictures... if your parents were movie stars.
Though this hotel has a stunning exterior, we opted to do all their photos inside. We braved hurricane winds and rain on their wedding day-- the perfect excuse to get creative with indoor lighting. Looking back, im so glad we took a step back and allowed ourselves ample time to explore the hallways and colorful corners of the hotel.
